USES

It is used for treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood anaemia, iron deficiency anemia, treatment of megaloblastic anemias due to a deficiency of folic acid and other conditions.
Helps in the formation of heme, the iron containing protein in hemoglobin necessary for the formation of red blood cells.
